More than 250 vendors in the AGAR network presented their products at the show, including new concepts in beef, seafood, pork, lamb, poultry as well as non-foods, dry and frozen grocery items.

Some 1,200 people, mostly independent restaurant operators, attended the event, which was an early celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Many were looking to the distributor to help them provide profitable solutions to counter the historic rise in food costs, according to Karen Bressler, president and ceo of the F.A.B. (Frosty Acres Brands) member-company.
