Changes in Not Your Average Joe’s kitchen

Not Your Average Joe’s, the New England chain of high-volume, chef-driven casual restaurants, has promoted Jeff Tenner to vice head of food and beverage. He remains executive chef as well.

Succeeding Tenner as vice president of food and beverage is a new hire, Chris Gatto, the former VP of F&B and corporate executive chef for Uno Chicago Grill.

Not Your Average Joe’s operates 20 restaurants in the Boston area and one on the Middle Atlantic Seaboard. Its sales are forecast to hit $75 million for 2014.

Tenner joined Not Your Average Joe’s in September 2013 after logging time in the kitchens of Bertucci’s, Legal Sea Foods, Whole Foods and the Kimpton Group.
