Clark Expands Southward; Takes Over Florida Firm

ELK GROVE, IL - Clark National, Inc., here has taken over Regal Foodservice Equipment & Supplies, Inc., a foodservice equipment and supplies distributor located in West Palm Beach, FL, the ID Top 50 company announced.

In connection with this move, distributorship has promoted Jeff Ireland to division president of its new West Palm Beach location. Ireland was formerly vice president of sales at Clark's South Bend, IN, broadline division, managing 45 sales people and $60 million in street business. Jerry Culbertson will continue as general manager of Regal, and will report to Ireland.

Also in connection with this move, Clark announced that it has promoted Dane Vida to vice president for sales for its South Bend Division, replacing Ireland.

Regal Foodservice Equipment & Supplies was formerly operated by a partnership owned by Don J. Hindman and Dermot Coughlan, who will remain on in an advisory capacity.

"We are excited about expanding our Clark Products distribution into South Florida, which is a growing market in the hospitality segment" according to Clark's President and ceo Donald D. Hindman. "Several of our National Account customers have asked us to service locations in South Florida and this move enables us to accommodate their needs."
