Clark Nat'l Adds Key Personnel at Various Sites

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL - Clark National, Inc., the $340 million broadline and specialty distributor here, named the following additions to its staff:

George Sengstock has been named director of purchasing, non-foods at the corporate office. Sengstock began his career at Clark as assistant director of purchasing and then later as the division president of its Chicago division and finally vice president of purchasing. Sengstock went on to become president and owner of Don Swan paper distributors in Atlanta, where he retired two years ago.

Rik Lah has joined Clark as the general manager of its products division in Peoria, IL. Lah brings a vast knowledge of industrial and janitorial/maintenance sales experience to Clark. Most recently, Lah was the general manager for Grainger Corp. in Peoria. For the past 10 years, he was responsible for growing the market segments with Grainger in numerous capacities. Lah will report to Chris Orbaugh, regional vice president of Clark Products.

Jim Fagan joined Clark Products as the director of procurement at its division in Carteret, NJ. Fagan brings more than 10 years of industry experience with him. He was employed by All-American Meats & Seafood as the director of purchasing and a buyer with both U.S. Foodservice and Unisource located in Connecticut.

John Hunter has been named director of procurement at its foodservice division in Cadillac, MI. Hunter has been in the foodservice industry for more than 20 years bring with him an extensive background in inventory control, center-of-the-plate purchasing and non-foods purchasing.
