Collins Joins Produce Alliance Board

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - C. David Collins III has joined the board of directors of the Produce Alliance, the national organization of fresh produce distributors based here, according to Managing Director Chuck Wilkinson.

Since 1989, Collins has been the president of Phoenix Wholesale Produce, the foodservice division of 34-year-old parent company Collins Brothers Produce. Phoenix Wholesale became a member of Produce Alliance in 2000.

Collins also serves on the board of the Atlanta Produce Dealers Association and is an active member of the American Culinary Federation and the United Culinary Arts.

Phoenix Wholesale serves most of Georgia and parts of Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee from its 90,000-sq.-ft. facility in Forest Park, GA.
