This week’s edition of the RB podcast “A Deeper Dive” features Juan Martinez, from Profitality, talking about unit economics and the coronavirus.

How can restaurants improve their unit economics during a pandemic?

This week’s edition of the Restaurant Business podcast A Deeper Dive features Juan Martinez, principal and cofounder of the industrial engineering firm Profitality, to discuss that very topic.

Profitality works with companies to help improve their unit economics. Martinez has more than 38 years of experience in foodservice consulting and has more than 17 years in the Burger King and Pillsbury Restaurant Group.

Martinez talks about the best strategies for doing that, both from the top line and the bottom line. It’s not all just about cutting costs. He also discusses a different way to think about third-party delivery.
