GFS to Open Sixth Indianapolis Marketplace Store


Gordon now has some 130 GFS Marketplace stores in the U.S. and Canada, all of which serve foodservice customers as well as the public with no membership fee charged. A GFS spokeswoman noted in local news reports that the company has seen an increase in shoppers looking to save money by buying food in bulk and repackaging it or sharing it with another family. The number of shoppers using food stamps also has increased, as well.
