Golbon Adds Four New Members



Reichert's Distributing, Inc., Centralia, WA, was founded in the late 1980s as a meat company. It has grown and evolved from servicing grocery and c-stores to a broadline distributorship, servicing a wide array of customers including independents and casinos.

As a result of its growth, the company moved into a new, company-owned facility over three years ago. Their product offering has widened to include nearly all categories for restaurants and institutions.

SunLine Food & Supply Co. came into existence in 2003 when the Shanahan family purchased Golbon member Sunbeam Foods facility and business in Houston. Sunbeam continues business in its primary facility in the Dallas area. Today, SunLine Food's primary business focus is to expand their product offering into a broadline distribution.

Acme Food Products Co., Inc., Passaic, NJ, has a long time presence in the New Jersey marketplace and is in the process of gearing up its growth. It handles all storage temperatures, focusing on government and school bids, and caterers in metro New Jersey.

Compasa LLC, located in McAllen, Texas, sells to distributors and foodservice accounts in Mexico. Known for its center of the plate sales in Mexico, Compasa intends to expand its product mix.
