Golbon Announces New Distributor Member

BOISE, ID (May 30, 2013)—Golbon foodservice marketing group announced the addition of Daniels Western Meat Packers, Inc., effective May 10, 2013.

Daniels Western Meat Packers, Inc. was founded by Daniel Santos in 1953 as a small butcher shop in Pico Rivera, California. Today the company is owned and managed by Daniel’s son, Al, along with his granddaughters, Lisa and Jackie. They recently completed an expansion bringing their total space to 60,000 square feet. The business was established in fresh protein and has since added dairy, refrigerated, and frozen categories. 

Their customer base includes independent restaurants, chains, resorts/hotels, white table cloth, theme parks, delicatessens, and caterers. They currently service the Southern California region.
