ID NEWS: All Kitchens' Pat Haas announces retirement

Patrick B. Haas, president of All Kitchens of America, Boise, Idaho, has retired.

The All Kitchens team will continue to report to Steve Push, president of distributor development for Progressive Group Alliance (Pro Group), Richmond, VA, the new umbrella company composed of -in addition to All Kitchens-Pocahontas Foods USA, Bakery Distributors of America, and a newly formed group, Buonamici International, which is dedicated to independent distributors servicing pizzeria, Italian fine dining and Mediterranean cuisine segments (ID web news, 3/21/03).

During Pat Haas' watch, All Kitchens grew to aggregate sales of more than $17 billion, as part of Foresight Partners, the strategic alliance formed with Federated Foodservice in 1998.

"Now that All Kitchens is a partner with Pro Group, this has given me the sense of knowing the business was in good hands, therefore allowing me to take my personal life to the next level and one I have dreamed about for so many years," says Haas. "I have made many friends in this industry throughout the years and will make it my new personal goal to nurture those relationships for years to come."

Haas says he plans to enjoy the "wild waters of the Idaho Rivers" and spend quality time with his grandchildren and family. He also wants to donate more time to helping people in need and is already involved with the local Boise Habitat for Humanity.
