ID NEWS: J. Kings named primary food distributor for NS-LIJ hospital system

HOLTSVILLE, NY--J. Kings Food Service Professionals has been named the primary food distributor for the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System (NS-LIJ), effective November 15, 2003. For the Long Island-based broadliner, which rang up more than $95 million in sales last year, the initial five-year commitment amounts to more than $15 million in annual billings.

Also, the distributor will serve on NS-LIJ's Culinary Council, which is responsible for foodservices at multiple facilities and serves as an active forum for exchange of ideas and information. (See ID Report, 11/26/03, for full story.)
