ID NEWS: USF wins $18.3-million prime vendor government contract

The Atlanta division of U.S. Foodservice (USF), Columbia, MD, has won an $18.3-million prime vendor contract with the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

USF, which is currently under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for inappropriate accounting of promo and rebate monies, had recently stated there was new business in the pipeline, despite the current difficulties.
