IFDA: The Go-To Resource on Operations, Logistics, Distribution

This is the conclusion of our interview with Mark S. Allen, president, International Foodservice Distributors Association, Falls Church, VA, conducted during the recent IFDA Partners Executive Forum in Washington, DC.

ID Access: How will the Center for Distribution Excellence function?
Mark Allen:
It will probably be a two-way street. It will take time to build education and awareness about the Center. We want to position IFDA as the industry’s primary resource on operations issues. We will disseminate to the industry, through the IFDA Daily Update and other avenues that we have, information that we believe is helpful to the industry at large.
