Jersey Mike’s announces new vice president of sales

Jersey Mike’s Subs has announced Brian O’Hagan as its new vice president of sales.

A veteran in the industry, O’Hagan joined the sandwich chain as an area director in 2013 where he led the chain’s expansion in the New England market, opening 16 restaurants in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. O’Hagan was also involved with the partnership with Mohegan Holding Company LLC, which just celebrated the opening of its sixth restaurant.

“In the past, I’ve been proud to help Jersey Mike’s grow in New England, and now look forward to helping [founder Peter Cancro] and the company really break away to become the segment leader in all markets across the country,” O’Hagan said in a statement. “It’s easy to be passionate about the company: Jersey Mike’s offers the best product quality and its culture of giving really resonates with me.”

Previously, O’Hagan served as the principal owner of Round Hill Restaurant Advisors, where he worked with chains such as Cosi, Einstein Bros. and Church’s Chicken, raising capital for many multiunit operators. O’Hagan also worked closely with national chains while at PepsiCo Foodservice and was an advisor on the sale of Hooters of America to private equity investors in 2011.
