Fast-casual chain Luna Grill has hired Tony Reaman as its chief financial officer, the company announced Wednesday.

Reaman comes to the 51-unit Mediterranean concept after five years as senior vice president of strategic planning for Corner Bakery Cafe. While there, he worked on productivity tracking, forecasting and modeling for the chain’s operations, as well as acquisition strategies—background experience Luna Grill called “essential” as it seeks to grow.

“Tony’s unique background and knowledge relating to multi-unit operations and scalability align perfectly with the future of the Luna Grill brand,” President Rich Pinnella said in a statement.

Before Corner Bakery Cafe, Reaman also served as vice president and director of financial planning and analysis at McAlister’s Deli.

“I am thrilled to join the powerhouse Luna Grill executive team filled with industry innovators and to collaborate and strategize on the most impactful financial and operational decisions as the company grows,” he said in a statement.

San Diego, Calif-based Luna Grill was founded in 2004 and has a menu of kabobs, falafel, salads, wraps and more. Its locations are in Southern California and Dallas-Fort Worth.

In January, Luna Grill hired Yum Brands veteran Steve Holliday as its COO.
