Mahesh Sadarangani named Peter Piper president

The pizza chain also named Sherri Landry chief marketing officer.

Peter Piper Pizza picked a president.

Dallas-based CEC Entertainment, the owner of the pizza chain, on Tuesday named Mahesh Sadarangani the brand’s president, “effective immediately.”

The company also said that Sherri Landry had been appointed chief marketing officer in August.

“With Peter Piper Pizza’s continued expansion in the United States, it’s an exciting and pivotal time to bring in the best talent and continue building on the brand’s momentum to achieve new growth and success,” CEC CEO Tom Leverton said in a statement.

Sadarangani joined CEC in August 2014 and most recently was the company’s chief administration officer. Leverton said that he made “significant contributions to CEC during his tenure and that “his extensive business knowledge and insights make him a great steward to lead the Peter Piper brand.”

Landry has considerable experience in marketing and brand strategy and most recently was the senior vice president and head of marketing at Which Wich.

Peter Piper operates 103 restaurants around the country and recently added locations in Oklahoma, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Florida.
