Bakery-cafe chain Paris Baguette has named a restaurant industry veteran to its CMO post.

Pete Bell, who has worked in marketing for more than three decades, will oversee all company marketing efforts, the chain announced Wednesday.

Bell previously was CMO for Twin Peaks and Specialty Brands Holding Corp., parent company of Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches. He was also the CMO of Smokey Bones barbecue restaurants.

“We’re thrilled to have Pete join our senior leadership team as we bring the Paris Baguette brand to new markets,” Jack Moran, global CEO of Paris Baguette, said in a statement. “He is a progressive and consumer-data-driven marketer who understands how to create effective and targeted campaigns that drive sales and awareness.”
