Mid-America Receives 'Above & Beyond' Award from Progressive Group

ENID, OK. - Mid-America Wholesale, Inc., here has been awarded the Above & Beyond award from the Progressive Group Alliance.

The award places the Oklahoma broadliner among the top five of 887 distributorship-members of Progressive Group, the Richmond, VA-based marketing group.

Mid-America also again won the group's top Flagship award for outstanding participation in the All Kitchens portion of the Progressive Group program, the amount of products bought and increase in participation. The company is up $7.5 million in purchases, according to Ron Lukenbaugh, general manager.

"We are very honored. Because of the acquisition of All Kitchens by Progressive Group we are in a much larger group of distributors to choose from. The fact that we were again selected is a great honor for us and our commitment toward Progressive Group is growing," Lukenbaugh. "Progressive Group Alliance has been a benefit to us, as a distributor, and our customers."

Lukenbaugh said Mid-America shows the award to its operator-customers to demonstrate that it is a viable partner and foodservice company in the marketplace. "These types of awards help our employees understand that they're doing a good job and helps our customers understand that they're working with a top-notch distributor," he said.
