The award is presented to "a deserving person in the tobacco, candy and allied area who has contributed to the welfare of the wholesaler and their industry."

Ron Lukenbaugh, general manager of Mid-America Wholesale here, and president of the association, presented the award to Devin Fogelman of Dot Foods. Mid-America, a member of All Kitchens USA, is a customer of Dot Foods.

The distributor community nominates and votes on the winners.

Also winning Sooner Awards were Susan Blake of Nestle USA and Dick Walsh of Lorillard Tobacco Co.
