Parts Town Offers Online Restaurant Equipment Parts

Parts Town, which specializes in the distribution of genuine OEM restaurant equipment parts, has developed a Web site, www.partstown.com, that enables users to view real-time inventory, detailed images of parts, technical documents and much more. Operators can order parts quickly and easily, track shipments online and view their account histories.

In addition, the company develops custom Web sites for many of it accounts, including top chain restaurants, displaying only the equipment parts used by each account. Parts Town maintains that as chains look to improve their supply chain, simplify, drive consistency and reduce costs, custom Web development has become an important value-added service.

“The pace of change continues to accelerate in our industry," states Emanuela Franzone, Director of E-Commerce for Parts Town. "Customers are demanding online access to restaurant equipment parts and manufacturers are looking to compete more effectively against the growing generic parts threat. Parts Town is committed to being at the forefront of serving both customers and manufacturers as the market continues to change."
