Perkins Paper acquires Advance Paper

Perkins Paper, Inc., a New England foodservice equipment and supply house, has acquired Advance Paper Co., Inc., Portland, ME, a foodservice and sanitation products specialist.

"We believe that this acquisition will give us an added presence in the southern Maine marketplace," comments Gary Perkins, president of Perkins Paper.

"It is a goal of Perkins to continue to grow both internally, as well as externally through the purchasing of other companies," he adds. The last acquisition the company made was the foodservice division of the Southboro, MA, branch of Unisource, in December 2000.

Perkins Paper is a founding member of Network Associates, Mount Prospect, IL, and also is affiliated with NPTA, ISSA, SEFA, and DDA.
