PFG Concludes Deal with Rock Island Employees

RICHMOND, VA - Performance Food Group, the third largest foodservice distributorship headquartered here, reported that it has concluded negotiations for a new tentative labor agreement for 224 warehouse workers and drivers at its Thoms Proestler Co. facility in Rock Island, IL.

The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by the union members.

"We are pleased to have reached a tentative agreement with our local union, which continues a strong and stable working relationship of over 40 years," said Tom Thoms, president of TPC. "We consider our associates and their families to be our greatest asset and we will continue to dedicate our efforts in being the employer of choice in our community."
