A limited bar serves guests dining in, as well as those waiting to pick up a pizza. Instead of sitting on a bench or taking a dining room seat, waiting guests can have a local beer from the tap and read one of the magazines on the counter.
The dining room isn’t huge but is designed to feel open and inviting. A variety of woods, such as reclaimed barn wood, creates a warm vibe accented with pops of color in the chairs and transparent red kitchen wall.
Operators have closed or rebranded nearly half of the chain’s locations over the past year and a half. And then as the chain was sold last week, franchisees were told the company lost its distribution contract.
