Reyes Holdings to Acquire Reinhart

NEW YORK - Reyes Holdings, LLC, a Chicago-based food and beverage distributor, announced on Dec. 21 that it intends to acquire ID Top 50 distributor Reinhart FoodService, Inc., of La Crosse, WI.

Terms of the deal, which is expected to close in early 2005, have not been released.

Reinhart, with estimated annual revenues of $1.6 billion in 2003, will complement Reyes' existing businesses, according to the acquirer's executives. Mark Drazkowski, ceo, will continue in his position.

With the addition of Reinhart, Reyes' 2005 revenues are expected to exceed $7 billion.
