We cracked the code on the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine by creating a Natural Cane Sugar Bag-in-the-Box to replace the high-fructose corn syrup that comes standard. Not only was this healthier in our eyes (and our customers'), but once we tasted the carbonated beverages made with cane sugar vs. HFCS, we noticed a significant improvement in effervescence, bubbles and flavor. When presented to Coke's vice president straight from the freestyle machine, the first response was Wow! Which Wich is also pouring lemonade and root beer products made with natural sugar at our 275 units.
