ID Access caught up with Bob Sledd, ceo of Performance Food Group, Richmond, VA, the third largest foodservice distributorship in the country, and conducted an interview with him about challenges and opportunities facing the foodservice distribution industry and PFG's growth plans. PFG recorded sales of $5.5 billion in 2003, up 24% from $4.4 billion the previous year. The company was named the ID Great Distributor Organization in 1998.
