Sysco Names Exec V-P at Minnesota Unit



Peterzen, who is currently senior vice president of the St. Paul operation, will assume his new duties on Jan. 1, 2006.

Peterzen, 46, is a 25-year foodservice industry veteran. He began his career in 1980 as a sales representative with the Minneapolis division of CFS-Continental, a company Sysco acquired in 1988 and renamed Sysco Food Services of Minnesota. He was promoted to district sales manager of the CFS operation in 1985, was named program sales manager in 1993 and then became director of program sales in 1995. Peterzen advanced to vice president of program sales in 1997 and on Jan. 1, 2004, he was promoted to his current position.

Peterzen is a 1983 graduate of the University of Minnesota, in Minneapolis, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He and his wife, Jacqueline, have two daughters and a son and reside in Ramsey, Minnesota.
