Sysco's Lankford, Accardi expand roles; Pulliam returns to corporate; new subsidiary presidents name

Sysco Corp., Houston, has announced that executive vice presidents Thomas E. Lankford and Larry J. Accardi have taken on broadened responsibilities, as a result of the company's recent expansion in product breadth and geographic reach. Lankford will assume the additional role of president of foodservice operations, North America, and Accardi will assume the added post of president of specialty distribution and merchandising services.

At the same time, Larry G. Pulliam will return to Sysco's corporate office as senior vice president, merchandising services. Pulliam, currently president and ceo of Sysco Food Services of Houston, LP, will assume his new position prior to the end of Sysco's June 29 fiscal.

W. Keith Miller succeeds Pulliam as president and ceo of Sysco Food Services of Houston. Currently president and ceo of Nobel/Sysco Food Services Co. Southwest Division, Albuquerque, NM, Miller will take his new post during the first quarter of calendar 2002. He will be succeeded as president and ceo of Nobel/Sysco Food Services Southwest by Timothy K. Hogan, currently executive vice president and coo of Sysco Food Services of Minnesota Inc. Hogan will assume his new responsibilities during the first quarter of calendar 2002.
