Systems Services of America Opens Phoenix Distribution Center

PHOENIX (December 27, 2012)—Systems Services of America (SSA) has opened a new distribution center in Phoenix, Ariz., to accommodate growth the food distribution company is experiencing with customers throughout the region.

"The new distribution center actually expands our volume beyond just doubling the square footage," said Karl Bachmann, General Manager. “This facility has a more efficient layout than our former location allowing us to stock more items and categories for our customers.”

The move to the higher capacity facility follows recent announcements by the company of its new Fontana, Calif., facility and the addition of sister company Food Services of America’s new distribution center located in Loveland, Colo.

"We’re committed to serving our growing customers throughout the West," said Tim Holland, SSA President & CEO. “Our additional capacity throughout the region will ensure the continued level of quality customers have learned to expect from us.”

Systems Services of America is a multi-unit distribution provider for restaurant chains in the fast casual, quick service, casual theme dining segment and the growing regional restaurant concept market. It is part of Services Group of America, one of the nation’s privately-held companies specializing in foodservice distribution.
