Self-service kiosks can make ordering and payment easy for busy limited-service customers, and they may still benefit from a novelty factor in some markets. Not to mention that kiosks can ease labor demands for operators. But the majority of consumers are at least somewhat skeptical—they want the convenience, but don’t necessarily want to help solve for minimum-wage pressures.
