Sysco Appoints two Regional Executive VPs

HOUSTON - Frederick Casinelli has been named executive vice president of Sysco Corp.'s Philadelphia subsidiary, according to the locally-based distributorship. Casinelli,
who is currently senior vice president of sales at Sysco Food Services of Connecticut, will assume his new role effective May 1.

Casinelli, 51, is a 25-year Sysco veteran. He began his career in 1979 as a produce specialist at Hallsmith-Sysco Food Services, LLC, the company's Boston subsidiary, and
in 1987 was promoted to produce manager. Casinelli transferred to Sysco Food Services of Connecticut in 1995 as director of merchandising, was named vice president of
merchandising the following year, and in 1999 he progressed to vice president of sales. He was appointed to his current position in 2001.

Casinelli was born in Arpino, Italy, and raised in Newton, MA. He and his wife, Patricia, have two sons and a daughter and will relocate to the Philadelphia area in the near future.

Sysco also reported that L. Paul Nasir has been named executive vice president of the company's Indianapolis operation. Nasir, who is currently senior vice president at Sysco Food Services of Detroit, will assume his new duties effective April 16.

Nasir, 45, began his Sysco career in 1990 as a marketing associate (DSR) for the company's Detroit operation. He progressed to district sales manager in 1997 and later
that year he was promoted to regional sales manager. Nasir was named vice president of sales in 1999, progressed to senior vice president of sales the following year and was
appointed to his current position in February 2004. He currently serves as a member of Sysco's Best Business Practices committee for Sales and Marketing.

Nasir is a native of Detroit, where he attended the University of Detroit. He and his wife, Kimberly, have two daughters and a son and will relocate to the Indianapolis area in the near future.
