Technomic Gearing Up for Foodservice Planning Program

CHICAGO (May 28, 2013 - PRNewswire)Twice a year, Technomic hosts to over 100 major suppliers to the foodservice industry at its Foodservice Planning Program (FSPP) conferences. The primary focus is on gaining insights from three major research studies—high-interest topics selected by clients.

At the upcoming June 17-18 conference, held in Chicago, these studies include:

Reaching the Operator
Which tactics and activities are truly impactful and add value to the manufacturer/operator relationship?

Food on the Go
How can manufacturers leverage opportunities from operators’ growing interest in offering pre-packaged meals?

Best Practices in Supply Chain and Redistribution
Which strategies and tactics will help manufacturers better align with redistributors? Or is it preferable to directly engage in redistribution?

The complete conference agenda also includes guest speakers, an update on the industry and highlights from the new Top 500 Chain Restaurant Report, and a special presentation on Restaurant Depot developments. Members of the FSPP can still submit their final registration details.

Next January, three other major studies will be presented in Newport Beach, California, rounding out the current Planning Program year. These topics include "Growth Strategies for a Mature Marketplace," "Foodservice Managements Firms: Top Players and Winners," and "Reaching the Distributor Sales Rep."
