Whole30 Delivered, a virtual restaurant based on the popular Whole30 diet, is debuting in Chicago through a partnership between multiconcept operator Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE) and Grubhub. Followers of the diet will be able to order up lunches and dinners featuring whole, unprocessed foods that are compliant with the lifestyle.
The LEYE culinary team worked directly with Whole30 to develop the delivery-only menu. Items include Spaghetti and Meatballs (made with spaghetti squash and chicken meatballs), Herb-Crusted Faroe Island Salmon with cauliflower rice and Chimichurri Beef Tenderloin Skewers with roasted vegetables. The 10 seasonally rotating entrees range from $13.95 to $22.95, while side dishes are $5.95.
“We are thrilled to be working with two great organizations, Whole30 and Grubhub, in putting together what we think is a very different delivery-only concept,” said R.J. Melman, president of LEYE, in a statement. “We think Whole30 is a great step forward for delivery-only kitchens.”
“It’s Grubhub’s goal to give diners the industry’s widest variety of food choices,” said Adam DeWitt, president and CFO of Grubhub, in a statement. “Whole30 Delivered adds an exclusive option to our marketplace for healthy and delicious meals.”
Grubhub is the sole delivery partner for Whole30 Delivered. Lettuce Entertain You also operates other delivery-only concepts in Chicago, including Seaside’s and the soon-to-open Naoki Fried Chicken.
