TPC DSRs certified in food safety

Thoms Proestler Co. (TPC), No. 24 in the ID Top 50, at $207 million in sales, becomes one of the first broadliners in the nation to have its entire sales force certified in food safety. All 87 foodservice consultants (FSCs), as the DSRs are called, have completed a food safety examination recognized and approved by the states of Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Each FSC prepared for the exam by completing a multimedia interactive training program on food safety, which TPC offers to its customers. The program teaches foodservice managers and staffs all information necessary for completing a food safety certification exam.
