Tulsa Fruit Joins Pro*Act

Tulsa Fruit, the oldest and largest independent produce distributor in northeastern Oklahoma, is a family-run business headed by Mark Johnson and his two sons, Gabe and Colby. Tulsa Fruit delivers the produce daily within a 100-mile radius of its headquarters, including parts of northeast Arkansas. It carries a complete line of fruit and vegetables as well as a limited dairy and dry goods line.

Colby Johnson, president of the distributorship, stated, "We are very happy to have joined the Pro*Act organization. They are well known for high quality standards in both product and service and that is very much what Tulsa Fruit is all about. Being affiliated with Pro*Act will allow us to take advantage of their sourcing, marketing, and networking services so we can continue to concentrate on servicing our customers."

Lloyd Ligier, vice president of business development for Pro*Act, stated, "The northeastern Oklahoma market is an important one for many of our national clients. Tulsa Fruit gives us, not simply coverage in this key area, but quality coverage from a well established, yet extremely progressive organization."
