USF's Salem Unit Gets $17 Million Fed Deal

SALEM, MO. - The local unit of U.S. Foodservice Inc., which is headquartered in Columbia, MD, has received a $17.7 million contract from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, according to regional news reports.

The contract calls for the company to provide full-line foodservice distribution for the Army and Navy.

The contract runs through April 23, 2005.
