Steal these Instagram ideas from colleges

Instagram

College dining operators are tapping Instagram to recruit student employees, likely candidates for LSR roles as well.

At University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, social media posts from the dining department spell out that it works around staff schedules and offers free food and other perks.

It also tries to turn customer appeal into job inquiries, with an Instagram feed that emphasizes its chefs' classical training to both elevate guest perception and let potential hires know about the caliber of the staff.

At Bloomsburg University Dining, Marketing Coordinator Alexandra Woytko posts about what kind of experience workers can put on their resume.

She often receives direct messages asking what the job is like and how to apply. “Answering right away helps to make sure you’re not losing that interest.”
