Zatina to Lead McLane Foodservice



Zatina brings more than 30 years of distribution experience to McLane Foodservice. He was formerly cfo for Bozzuto's, Inc., as well as the senior vice president of operations at Fleming Companies and is currently the president and principal founder of Zatina and Associates, a consulting firm that counsels executive teams on strategic business issues such as operations, sales development, marketing, merchandising and more.

Grady Rosier, president and ceo of McLane, said, "We are pleased Tom Zatina is joining the McLane team. Tom is highly respected in the distribution industry and will be a great asset to McLane Foodservice."

Zatina completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University and received a Master's degree from Central Michigan University. He has served as vice chair of the Board of the Food Industry Alliance of New York State and as chairman of the Government Relations Committee of Food Distributors International. He also has an extensive Human Resource and Labor Relations background.

Thomas Zatina will replace current president of McLane Foodservice, Mike Youngblood. The company previously announced Youngblood as the new president of McLane Grocery Distribution taking over for the retiring Terry McElroy.
