Dunkin’ Donuts adds candy-inspired LTOs

Dunkin’ Donuts is debuting two candy-inspired drinks just ahead of Halloween. The chain’s new Almond Joy hot chocolates, available hot or frozen, are a blend of chocolate, coconut and almond flavors. The two drinks will be sold for a limited time.

As part of its Halloween promotions, the chain is also this month hosting a costume contest on Instagram, giving customers the chance to complete for a threefold prize: their photo on a billboard in Times Square, $2,500 and a year’s worth of coffee.

Dunkin’ Donuts was recently named one of teens’ seven favorite restaurant chains in a report by financial firm Piper Jaffray, being the most-preferred chain among 4% of high-income teenagers.
