How the research works
The Future 50 is a ranking of up-and-coming restaurant chains that did not make the Technomic Top 500. Rankings are based on 2022 systemwide sales, and chains must also have demonstrated consistent unit and sales growth. Data was compiled by Technomic, and when not provided, Technomic estimated sales based on public information, comparable concepts, market and other factors.
