Cinnabon giveaway targets nurses

Cinnabon, a bakery chain with a number of non-traditional locations, will offer nurses a free cinnamon roll during National Nurses Week, May 6-12.

The healthcare providers merely have to show their badges to receive the free bun.

The Focus Brands-franchised concept has run the promotion during Nurses Week since 2008. The event is part of the chain’s support for The DAISY Foundation, a group that celebrates the contribution of nurses to patient care.

“Our partnership with The DAISY Foundation allows us to show our appreciation for those who support others,” said Kat Cole, president of Cinnabon. “We are proud to support those who work every day in the healthcare field and are happy to continue growing our relationship with The DAISY Foundation.”
