Tim Williams, president of the broadliner company, accepted the award during the annual UniPro Executive Conference which was held at the Chateau Whistler Resort, Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.
In addition, the distributor group presented its Chairman?s Distinguished Service Award to Larry Abbott, president, Abbott Foods, Inc., Columbus, Ohio, which is this year?s selection by ID magazine as its Great Distributor Organization (GDO). (See ID September issue for coverage.)
Also honored for faithful service to UniPro was its outgoing co-chair Joe Cambi of SFC Springfield Foodservice, Springfield, MA.
