Ben & Jerry’s adds a new riff on the ice cream cone

Looking for a new spin on the familiar waffle cone? On April 20, Ben & Jerry's is rolling out another way for customers to eat ice cream, called the BRRR-ito.

The new dish consists of two scoops of ice cream wrapped in a crepe, topped with crumbled cookie and drizzled with chocolate fudge.

"We have created a wrap that has all the ridgey goodness of their more crispy cousins—yet are slightly less sweet and provide the chewy satisfaction of the BRRR-ito eating experience", said Alison Gilbert, Ben & Jerry's senior brand manager of scoop shops, in a release.

When asked whether the upcoming ice cream creation would compete with Chipotle, Ben & Jerry's franchisee James Healey said with a smile, "I guess you could say that."
