ID NEWS: FSA, DiCarlo join EFS Network

Food Services of America (FSA), Seattle, and DiCarlo Distributors, Holtsville, NY, have joined EFS Network, Inc., Chicago, a major supply chain solutions provider for the foodservice industry.
"Following a thorough evaluation, we concluded that EFS Network will significantly streamline trading partner transactions which translates into better value to our customers," comments Tom Staley, president and ceo of FSA.
"As an innovative distributor, DiCarlo Distributors always looks for opportunities to improve our business and make us a cost-effective trading partner for our suppliers," says Vincent DiCarlo, Sr., president of DiCarlo Distributors.
Both Top 50 broadliners will implement the EFS Order Management System to automate purchase order-to-invoice processes with their suppliers.
EFS has beaten customer growth targets, adds EFS Network CEO Hank Lambert. The chain solutions provider counts more than $40 billion in purchasing power, involving more than 155 distributor locations. The number of companies participating in EFS has more than doubled in the past six months.
