ID NEWS: NRA, NRAEF debut food security educational book and poster

The NRA and NRAEF have worked in concert with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to create the materials.

"The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation has a long history of successfully training and educating the restaurant and foodservice industry and is now looking forward to doing the same surrounding food security with a simple, easy-to-understand booklet and poster," comments Mary M. Adolf, president and coo of the NRAEF.

Called Food Security: An Introduction, the booklet provides an extensive explanation of what food security is and clarifies the difference between food security and food safety.
