IFDA Gains Two New Members

(October 25, 2012)—This week, the IFDA announced two new members: Deli-Boy, Inc. in New York and Harbor Wholesale Foods in Washington. 

Deli-Boy, Inc. is a broadline distributor serving restaurants, grocery chains, and convenience stores throughout central New York. Founded in 1960 in Solvay, the company partnered with P&C Food Markets to provide full-service delis in grocery stores, and expanded into foodservice in 1995 with the acquisition of Syracuse based F.G Alletzhauser. In 2002, Deli-Boy acquired Big Apple Deli Products in Rochester. Deli-Boy is a member of UniPro Foodservice.

Harbor Wholesale Foods, a fourth generation, family-owned and operated broadline distributor, is located in Lacey, WA. Founded in 1923, the company distributes to five northwest states including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and Northern California. Recognized as one of the nation's top 25 convenience distributors, the company is a UniPro Foodservice member and has 2,000 customers including convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and drug store chains.
