As the nation prepared to head to the polls last fall, Phil Rosenthal and his Rosenthal Family Foundation stepped up to support voters. The creator of “Everybody Loves Raymond” and star of the Netflix food show “Somebody Feed Phil” launched Somebody Feed the People, a nonpartisan campaign to help provide free meals for people waiting in line to vote. It drummed up donations to organizations such as José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen and Pizza to the Polls, and also matched contributions up to $250,000. Somebody Feed the People has continued its efforts beyond Election Day, working to fund meal support during the Georgia runoff, the fallout from the Capitol attack and the Texas storms.
