Rydell Named Saval

A 19-year resident of Powhatan County, Rydell brings more than 30 years of foodservice sales and management experience to the Saval position. He has served as both the business development manager and sales manager for a local foodservice distributor and has also served as district manager for H.B. Hunter Co., Tennessee Pride Sausage Company, Tone Spices and Modern Maid Foods.

Rydell has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, sociology, and secondary education from Jacksonville University. He has also enhanced his professional expertise through several educational sales seminars and extensive training in product knowledge from national manufacturers.

Rydell and his wife, Betty, have lived in Powhatan County for many years where he has served as president of his community association and treasurer for the last 12 years.

Saval, a $70 million family-owned distributorship, is a member of UniPro Foodservice, Inc., Atlanta.
