Third Generation Assumes Management Post at Snyder



Snyder earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with a marketing minor from Baylor University and previously worked in the marketing department of the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball Team in Arlington, Texas.

She has been actively involved in the business and has held positions in the customer service, sales, purchasing and accounting departments of the firm. She has been a stockholder of the corporation since Aug. 1, 2002 and the corporate treasurer since May 12, 2003.

Snyder will be responsible for directing the company's annual marketing plan and working with the firm's suppliers, sales representatives and customers to bring more value to their customers and vendors. In addition to her responsibilities as vice president, marketing, she will be training in all areas of management as a member of the corporate executive committee. She will report directly to Richard L. Snyder, chairman, president and ceo, and Janeen Snyder, vice president and cfo.

"This begins a phase of our corporate succession plan for Snyder Wholesale, Inc.", said Snyder. "Janeen and I have in the past conveyed to Kelle an open invitation to join the family business upon her meeting the following criteria: she must be qualified, she must make this her own decision and she must work for at least one other business after college graduation."

Snyder Wholesale, Inc. was founded in 1958 by H. L. Snyder, Kelle Snyder's grandfather, and is a member of F.A.B., Inc. (Frosty Acres Brands). The foodservice and c-store distributor serves customers within a 150-mile radius in portions of Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
