Tyson Foods named Ben E. Keith

Randy Smith, Tyson's senior vice president of distribution sales and marketing, and Regional Manager Brian Barton accepted the award from Mike Roach, Ben E. Keith Foods' president at the 23rd Annual Supplier Appreciation Dinner held at the Ridglea Country Club.

Tyson also won the Supplier of the Year in the Frozen Foods category.

Ben E. Keith, the ninth largest broadliner, chose winners in six categories from among its top suppliers. The process involved four ballots cast by both division and corporate management.

S.S.D.C., supplier of cleaning products, was singled out in the non-foods category. The produce category winner was Taylor Farms, while Advance Food Co. took the COP category honors. Ventura Foods, LLC, was the grocery category winner. The equipment & supply winner was Carlisle Foodservice Products.
